Mr Peter Harold – Managing Director & CEO

B.AppSc (Chem) AFAICD

Mr Harold is a process engineer with over 30 years of corporate experience in the minerals industry, specialising in financing, marketing, business development and general corporate activities. Peter started his career in the mining industry with Australian Consolidated Minerals Ltd as the Marketing Manager in charge of sales of all zinc and copper concentrate from the Golden Grove Joint Venture and was intimately involved with establishing long term frame contracts for all offtake, which underwrote the debt financing for the project.

Prior to joining Rumble, Peter was the CEO/Managing Director of Poseidon Nickel Ltd for 3.5 years before transitioning to non-executive Chairman in October 2023. During his time as CEO/MD of Poseidon, the company delivered the DFS on the Windarra/Lancefield Gold tailings project and the BFS on the Black Swan Nickel Project Restart, discovered the Golden Swan high-grade nickel resource/reserve, undertook major refurbishment works on the Black Swan processing plant and the Silver Swan mine, restarted exploration activities at Lake Johnston, raised significant equity to fund activities and repaid the US$17.5M debt to Black Mountain.

Prior to joining Poseidon, Mr Harold was Managing Director of Panoramic Resources Ltd (originally Sally Malay Mining Ltd) for 18 years, a company he co-founded as a $3 million IPO in 2001. Peter steered Panoramic through the financing and development of the Savannah Nickel Project in the East Kimberley and the acquisition and re-start of the Lanfranchi Nickel Project near Kambalda, with the company reaching a market capitalisation of $1.2 billion in 2007, employing 400 people and producing 20,000 tonnes per annum of nickel in concentrate.

Peter has been a director of a number of ASX-listed companies over the past 25 years and is currently the Chairman of Poseidon Nickel and Rare Foods Australia Limited, the only wild enhanced fishery in the world using certified sustainable practices to produce Greenlip abalone. Peter was also a director and past chairman of Youth Focus, a not-for-profit organisation working to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young Western Australians aged between 12 and 25.

Mr Peter Venn – Technical Director

B.Sc (Geo (Hons) MAIG, MAICD

Mr Venn is a geologist with more than 32 years’ resources industry experience and achievement. He has established and led highly successful teams and been closely involved in the exploration, acquisition, evaluation, and development of more than 10 mining operations, including Syama, Golden Pride, Obotan in Africa and Ravenswood, Chalice, Higginsville, Marymia and Mertondale in Australia.

His most recent managerial positions have been as Managing Director of Margosa Graphite Limited, an emerging producer of vein graphite in Sri Lanka, and Chief Business Development Officer with Resolute Mining Limited, where his role included supervision of all technical aspects of exploration, resource development, feasibility, and oversight during design/construction/commissioning of a 1.5Mtpa Oxide Processing Facility at the Syama Gold Project in Mali, West Africa.

Mr Geoff Jones – Non-Executive Director 

BE (Civil Eng), FIEAust, CPEng

Mr Jones is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years’ experience in engineering design and construction for minerals processing and mine project development in Australia and overseas. He previously worked for GR Engineering, Baulderstone Hornibrook, John Holland, Minproc Engineers and Signet Engineering before serving as Group Project Engineer for Resolute Mining Limited where he was responsible for the development of its mining projects in Australia, Ghana and Tanzania.

Geoff is the CEO of MACA interquip which is structured into six operating divisions – mining, crushing, civil, infrastructure, international and MACA Interquip.

Mr Jones currently also serves as Non-Executive Director of Ausgold Limited (ASX:AUC).

Mr Michael Smith – Non-Executive Director

Chartered Accountant

Mr Smith  is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years experience in the accounting, business and taxation advice sectors. He is a director of a number of private operating & investment vehicles and was Chief Executive of a division of a publicly listed national financial services consolidator for five years overseeing significant growth in that time.

Mr Matthew Banks – Non-Executive Director

Mr Banks has over 20 years specialising in marketing, public relations and finance. During that time, he has developed strong relationships with a number of leading public and private companies as well as high net worth individuals from across a number of industries.

Mr Banks is Executive director of exploration company Wildcat Resources (ASX: WC8).

Management

Mr Brett Keillor – Head of Technical 

Bachelor of Applied Science (Mining Geology)

Brett Keillor is a geologist with over 30 years’ experience in the mining industry working across a diverse range of commodities. He has worked and reviewed exploration and development projects across the globe with Resolute Mining Ltd (ASX:RSG) and was recently Chief Geologist (Gold) for Independence Group NL (ASX: IGO) from 2002 to 2015 and remains a consultant to the group.

Brett was involved in the discovery of the Marymia gold deposit (1987 – 1994), from grass roots to first gold production and the Plutonic gold discovery in 1987. He also initiated exploration with Indee that led to the discovery of seven gold deposits in the Mallina Shear Zone. One of his most significant involvements was the initial targeting that led to the discovery of the Tropicana gold deposit for IGO. Brett is twice recipient of the AMEC Award “Prospector Of The Year”, for the Marymia discovery in 1998, and again in 2012 for the Tropicana discovery. In recent years played a significant part in the discovery of the (Bibra Karlawinda gold deposit).

Mr Ben Jones – Chief Geologist

BSc(Hons) MEconGeol

Ben Jones is a highly experienced technical geologist with over 20 years specialising in advancing gold and base metal deposits in Australia. Using this expertise, Ben has spent the past four years consulting to Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN) in WA and Qld.

Prior to consulting, Ben held senior management positions leading teams and advancing projects from exploration through to development phase with Independence Group (ASX: IGO), Jabiru Metals Ltd (ASX: JML) and AngloGold Ashanti (ASX: AGG). During this period, Ben oversaw the re-interpretation and successful definition of over 1Moz of gold as part of the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine Underground Feasibility Study, delivered the Tropicana Gold Deposit Pre-Feasibility Study (now over 7Moz) in Western Australia, and completed the Stockman Cu-Pb-Zn deposit Pre-Feasibility Study in Eastern Victoria.

Mr Luke Timmermans – Senior Project Manager – Earaheedy Project

Honours in Geology and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology. Currently undertaking a Masters of Economic Geology

Luke Timmermans is a geologist with over 10 years’ experience in the mining industry working on commodities including gold, base metals and hard rock lithium-caesium-tantalum. He has held senior geological roles with Gold Fields (JSE:GFI), Red 5 (ASX:RED) and Essential Metals (ASX:ESS).

Luke was involved with the re-discovery of the King of the Hills gold deposit as a bulk mining operation and co-led a team that grew the mineral resource estimate to over 3Moz Au, and later oversaw the project through feasibility studies and into mill construction.

Mr Trevor Hart  – Chief Financial Officer

CPA, CSA, BBus,

Mr. Hart is a Certified Practicing Accountant and Chartered Secretary with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and has over 25 years in the resources and mining services industry.  He has been involved in the financial management of mineral and resources focused ASX public listed companies serving on the board and in the executive management team  and has extensive experience in financial reporting, capital raisings, feasibility studies, commodity offtakes, debt financings and treasury management of resource companies.

Prior to joining Rumble Resources Ltd, Trevor held senior financial positions in ASX listed companies with the most recent being with Develop Global Limited (ASX: DVP) as CFO and Company Secretary, where he was instrumental in the transformation of the company. With the recapitalisation of the Company, purchase of the Woodlawn Zinc/Copper mine and the commencement of underground mining services contracting business, resulting in $400m in contracts being awarded. Other senior financial positions in ASX listed companies including Kasbah Resources Ltd (ASX:KAS), Breakaway Resources Ltd (ASX:BRW), Barra Resources Ltd (now named Greenstone Resources (ASX:GSR) and Aerodata Holdings ltd (World Geoscience Pty Ltd) as well as several private mining industry related companies.

Mr Steven Wood  – Company Secretary

Chartered Accountant

Mr Wood has specialised in corporate advisory, company secretarial and financial management services professionally since 2011. Steven is a Chartered Accountant, and has been involved in various private and seed capital raisings as well as successful ASX listings, whilst also providing company secretarial and financial management services to both ASX and unlisted public and private companies.
